Cape Fear (1991)

Response of Cape Fear (1991)

Director: Martin Scorsese (AMAZING)
Writers: John  D. MacDonald (Novel), James R. Webb (Earlier screenplay)  and Wesley Strick (Screenplay)
Starring: Robert De Niro, Nick Nolte, Jessica Lange and Juliette Lewis.

Rating: 8.4/10  (Always a classic)

This film is about a character named Max Cady, played by Rober De Niro, who has recently just got out of prison. Max Cady had been in prison for a very long time, for a very serious act (that will not be spoiled). When Max Cady gets out, he feels he wasn't served the right justice by his lawyer at the time the verdict was held. This results in Max Cady trying to do anything he possibly can to feel like justice is served against the lawyer. The lawyer named Sam Bowden has a lot to deal with all at once. This involves his daughter Danielle Bowden and his wife Leigh Bowden. Without giving too much away, there is never a dull moment in this film. Watch out, Max Cady is about. The cinematography is incredible. It gives you the feeling that you never know what is going to happen and whether or not the trauma will end. The performances are incredible and are all very well crafted.Max Cady is  very intimidating, you'll start to feel like he is round every corner. No matter how many times you see this film, it was always has you hanging on the edge of your seat. It can be very hard to make models look realistic in films, due to the movements needing to be accurate. This is like water, it can be hard to get right. However this film shows no flaws when it comes to movement. A near perfect performance. This film is an 18.

The genres for this film is crime and thriller.
This film is not suitable for young children or those easily offended. The film includes rape scenes and crime. But certainly worth watching.

This is a film you MUST SEE in life.
